Text Based Artwork: Art and Language

This Text Based/Art as Language assignment is the final project. It is worth 100 points and is Due May 3rd (Finals week).

There is no size limitation here. The media you choose should for this project should be harmonious to your concept.

1. Will your text be readable or not? Language and therefor symbols are fair game for that matter because the our goal is that of communication. But, we are not illustrating...we are poetically proclaiming...whatever we see fit.

2. How mysterious will you be? will it be easy to understand or will the viewer need to spend sometime with your work??? Which would you prefer?

3. What is drawing itself? is it a language? What materials are ok to use? We shall discuss this in class.

4. What is worth communicating????
